The Harp and the Bowl 2
““The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”)….“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”” (Matt 1:23; 28:18-20 cf. Rev 212:24-26)

Original Context for Harp and Bowl Prophecy 2009
“Interpreting the biblical symbols listed in the heading (above), the harp stands for praise – worship, the bowl for prayer- intercession, and the nations means world mission. At the intersection of these three axes we will see the outgrowth of world revival…. Australia is called to become a leader in global Christian worship from a missiological foundation…. We are about to witness a shift from the principle of “the Great Commission” to a powerful awareness in the Spirit of the presence of the Great Commissioner, Jesus. This will make the difference in motivation for mission… the Spirit is moving the Church in Perth into expressions that are light, mobile and can meet anywhere, anytime through every sector of society…. the church will be continually empowered because it will rediscover and re-experience the truth of the presence of Jesus in the praise and worship context of the Great Commission, “they worshipped him…Go make disciples of all nations…And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”” (Matt 28:17,18, 20).
Context 2025
On the verge of the 24/7 prayer conference at Life Streams Perth (21/3/25) the Lord spoke to me through Ps 40:6, “you have given me an open ear/dug out ears”. Whilst this is primarily about Jesus’ obedience to being sent as our Saviour, “when Christ came into the world, he said: “Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me; 6 with burnt offerings and sin offerings you were not pleased. 7 Then I said, ‘Here I am—it is written about me in the scroll—I have come to do your will, my God.” (Heb 10:5-7), it also applies to us his beloved Bride for: “whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in the Spirit.” (1 Cor 6:17). Thus, when an intercessor-musician from Mongolia turned up at the usual 6.30 am prayer meeting yesterday, an extraordinary prophetic event transpired. It was the prophetic assembling of a community stretching from the most landlocked nation in the world to the most isolated mainland capital city on the planet! A powerful unity was released by our common sharing in Christ’s promise: ““My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.” (John 17:20-23) This powerful unity had nothing to do with ordinary understandable ties but was an indefinable expression of the anointing of God’s Holy Spirit (1 John 1:20, 27). Our tiny prayer, praise, and prophesying gathering contained embryonically the future of 24/7 prayer in Perth and the world. As always, the key to everything to do with the kingdom of God is JESUS!!
Hearing with Jesus
Jesus had his ears “dug out” (Ps 40:6) to perceive the voice of the Father through the agony of the cross whereby his hearing was “made perfect through suffering” (Heb 5:8-9). Now as ascended and glorified the Lord of the nations is interceding for the planet with perfect clarity (Heb 7:25) drawing his beloved Bride into his prayers “in the Spirit” (1 Cor 6:17; Rev 1:10). This intense Spiritualising is needed because the mission of the Church to make disciples of all nations is paralleled by the acts of negativizing demonic powers. Cultural conflicts, e.g. Russia and Ukraine, Israel and Gaza, Myanmar, D.R.C. etc. work to paralyse kingdom growth. War is always an act against God’s ordering of human life.
Divisive Cultural spirits vs the Unifying Spirit of Christ
“When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when he divided mankind, he fixed the border of the peoples according to the number of the sons of God.” (Deut 32:8). Given the use of “sons of God” in the Old Testament, this means each national/ethnic group was designed to be governed by an angelic power (cf. Dan 10:13, 20). As guardians of the divine rule, they were designed to assist the nations to “find” God (Acts 17:26-27). Tragically, through the angelic and human Fall, corruption encompassed the earth (Gen 6:1-4; Job 1:6; 2:1). Every niche inhabited by humans is occupied by evil spiritual powers before the Gospel arrives (Rev 12:9). Praise God, the world, the flesh and the devil have already been (objectively) pacified “through the blood of the cross” (Col 1:20). Those who go forward in mission are sent in the power of the Spirit with this supreme assurance. In this going forth through prayer into the world the name/presence of Jesus is absolutely foundational (Acts 3:16). Many 24-7 prayer ventures have collapsed because they were not adequately Christ-centred. (Despite all protestations to the contrary)
Immanuel
The vision for 24-7 prayer in Perth is of a united group of Father-worshippers in Spirit-Truth (John 4:24) totally embraced by the vision of Christ. “Immanuel” providentially bookends the start and end of our first Gospel (1:13; 28:20 https://truthandtidings.com/2023/11/gospel-bookends-the-ever-present-king/)). As the divine-human “Alpha and Omega” (Rev 22:13) Jesus has commenced and completed all of God’s works in himself (John 19:30). By walking by faith in the finished work of the Lord that a world mission 24-7 prayer centre in Perth can and must be established.
Conclusion
Long ago the Lord prophesied of the glories of a new covenant dispensation. “I will give them singleness of heart and action, so that they will always fear me and that all will then go well for them and for their children after them…. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.” (Jer 32:39; Ezek 36:26-27). These holy glories are fast emerging in our time, not because of technological advances, but by the growth of Christian love throughout the world. This heaven-born loving glory vastly exceeds all ancestral lines of division because it shares in the sacrificial blood of the Lamb ruling in power over all things in heaven and earth (Acts 120:36; Rev 13:8). The perpetual worship of Jesus will empower a mission to nations without end. “The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendour into it. 25 On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. 26 The glory and honour of the nations will be brought into it.” (Rev 21:24-26).
