Against the tide

35 “But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High: for he is kind to the ungrateful and evil. 36 Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful.”
Luke 6:35-36 ESV

Dear friends and family, it is hard to go against the tide of world opinion. Love, kindness and mercy ‘to the ungrateful and evil’ is unthinkable. So as Christians let’s swim against the swirling currents today, for the Saviour swims beside us, and our Heavenly Father waits before us to ‘reward’ us with many mercies. Shalom.
